Life skills training for youths

Welcome to life skills training for youths.

This course has been created for you by the Oxfam Empower Youth for Work programme to increase your knowledge and skill about your rights, responsibilities, and active citizenship. Empower Youth for Work (EYW) is a five-year (2016-2021) project, funded by the IKEA Foundation. This project focuses on enabling young people (especially young women) in rural climate-affected areas in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Ethiopia to seek and obtain decent work. The main objective of the Empower Youth for Work project in Bangladesh is to work for the economic and social empowerment of young women and young men in the areas affected by climate change. By teaching young people life skills, the EYW project aspires to make a positive difference in the lives of these young people to assist them in the pursuit of job opportunities, and of activities that contribute to the economy.
